What We Need:
Obagi is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Regional Education & Training Specialist to promote and maintain high levels of engagement of Obagi products within a designated region. Responsible for sell-in and sell-through activities, this role will provide ongoing training & support to customers and internal teams via product knowledge, clinical expertise, social media, and thorough patient consultations.
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Master Obagi’s full portfolio of products
  • Partner with Regional Sales Manager to plan and execute education and training sessions, customized to account needs
  • Assist field sales consultants with new account set-up and product training
  • Act as a resource to all accounts, offering education and providing business building consultations
  • Support field sales consultants on delivering events and initiatives within the assigned region
    • Provide coverage for leaves of absence or vacant territories as needed
  • Build trusted relationships with account staff members (i.e. managers and other support staff)
  • Lead all merchandising initiatives and maintain guidelines according to corporate standards
  • Track relevant KPIs and metrics (i.e. activity, visits, current business conditions, trends and competitive information) to share with leadership
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Education Teams to maintain consistent sales support materials
  • Resolve customer issues through investigation and solution development, escalating to leadership when necessary
  • Coordinate administrative demands and field daily objectives
  • Ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Provide technical product and procedure expertise
  • Establish and maintain excellent communications and sound working relationships with co-workers
  • Other projects assigned
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Biology, or Public Relations required; RN, NP, or PA licensure / experience highly preferred but not required
  • At least 3+ years within the beauty industry or health & wellness space
    • Prior experience as an esthetician highly preferred
    • Prior experience with injectables/fillers highly preferred 
  • Proven track record of sales success and exceeding target sales goals.
  • Must reside in one of the following states: NY, NJ, PA, MD, CT, OH and must be able to travel up to 50% with the assigned region (overnight may be required)
    • Valid driver’s license in good standing required
  • Comfortable maintaining existing relationships and creating new relationships with customers, with emphasized care around healthcare professionals
  • Confidence negotiating, delivering a sales pitch, and presenting new product features/updates.
  • Effective communication skills that can be tailored to all levels, both positive and negative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technologies
  • Possess an energetic, positive attitude that fosters trust and confidence with internal and external stakeholders.
