What We Need:
Obagi is seeking a reliable and organized Logistics (LX) & Claims Specialist to oversee the logistics operations for international shipments within a B2B environment. Responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods to international distributors and clients, the LX & Claims Specialist will handle the distributor claims process to ensure all issues and discrepancies are resolved promptly and efficiently.

What We Need:
Obagi is seeking a reliable and organized Logistics (LX) & Claims Specialist to oversee the logistics operations for international shipments within a B2B environment. Responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods to international distributors and clients, the LX & Claims Specialist will handle the distributor claims process to ensure all issues and discrepancies are resolved promptly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the LX operations for international shipments
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that arise during transit
- Manage the distributor claims process, including receiving, investigating, and resolving claims related to damaged or missing goods.
- Communicate with distributors to gather necessary information and documentation for claims
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Quality Control, Finance) to resolve claims efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of all claims and resolutions
- Analyze claims data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Provide exceptional customer service to international distributors and clients
- Respond to inquiries and provide updates on shipment status and claims
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and clients
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in logistics operations and the claims process
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall service quality
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required with a focus in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration or related field
- At least 3-4+ years of relevant experience supporting international operations / logistics coordination and managing distribution claims processes
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency utilizing logistics software & tools (TMS, WMS, ERP systems)
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization/time management skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever-changing environment; someone who thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technologies:
- Prior experience with Visio, Power BI, or MS Project Manager, highly preferred
- An energetic, positive attitude that encourages a team and supports the growth and professional development of others.
