Job Description
  1. Strategic Marketing Leadership
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's vision, mission, objectives to archive market share, sales and profit target.
  • Drive short- and long-term marketing plans to support growth in omni-channel
  • Identify and size up market opportunities, white spaces, and emerging trends
  • Guide brand positioning, messaging, and storytelling to resonate with Vietnamese consumers
  1. Brand management
  • Ensuring consistent brand messaging and image across all marketing materials and channels.
  1. Performance & Campaign Management
  • Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of new product launch and marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social, traditional)
  • Oversee media buying, influencer collaborations, affiliate marketing, and PR activities
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches and seasonal promotions
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign KPIs and optimize accordingly
  1. Financials, profitability and budgetary control:
  • Allocation of financial resources in line with business objectives and market potential. Evaluate investments through ROI analysis. Operational Budgetary controls for cost and profit management
  • Create and manage the annual marketing budget with clear allocation across segments and initiatives
  • Track all marketing expenditures, ensuring ROI-driven investment and cost control
  • Ensure all marketing materials and activities meet legal and regulatory standards in Vietnam
  • Collaborate with internal audit or legal teams on risk management and compliance
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure marketing plans support channel objectives and sell-through
  • Partner with Product Development and Clinical teams to communicate product efficacy and innovation
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing and Merchandising to support in-store visibility and brand consistency
  • Align with regional stakeholders on brand strategy, content, and campaign guidelines
  1. People and Performance Management
  • Effectively collaborate with cross functional stakeholders for buy-in of strategies to internal customers and ensure strong implementation of designed strategies.
  • Foster performance driven culture in the marketing team.
  • Collaboration with Sales team for effective and result oriented executionProvide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback for team development
  • Manage external partners including creative agencies, media firms, and consultants
  • Champion a collaborative, passionate work environment aligned with Obagi values


Background requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Deep knowledge of Vietnam’s beauty market, consumer behavior, and distribution channels
  • Key skill-set:
  1. Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to motivate and manage a team.
  2. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term marketing strategies
  3. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  4. Creativity & Innovation: Ability to develop innovative and impactful new product launch plan and marketing campaigns
  5. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey marketing messages
  6. Technical Skills: Proficiency in various digital marketing tools
